Tanna is a regulation specialist covering AML/CFT, digital assets and banking regulation. She leads the policy work at the Responsible Fintech Institute, a non-profit shaping the future of responsible financial technology by developing key tools, standards, and frameworks. She was formerly a member of the Financial Action Task Force Secretariat and a Government official of Hong Kong across a decade of international and domestic policymaking work. Some of the key works include Hong Kong’s stablecoin legislation, and FATF’s standard changes in beneficial ownership and payment transparency. Before that, she was a political journalist at the South China Morning Post.
