Dr. Tanwa Arpornthip

Dr. Tanwa Arpornthip serves as a Senior Advisor at SCB 10X, the venture arm of SCBX Group, where he applies his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Virginia to evaluate and guide investments in frontier technologies.

At SCB 10X, he conducts technical due diligence on blockchain, DeFi, and AI startups, advises the company on strategic technology initiatives including tokenization and institutional-grade infrastructure, and provides recommendations on technology roadmaps for portfolio companies. He has pioneered AI automation within the investment process, developing systems that enhance due diligence efficiency, automate deal analysis, and optimize technical assessments for both digital asset and traditional finance applications.

Simultaneously, he contributes to academic research as part of the Faculty of Technology and Environment at Prince of Songkla University (Phuket Campus), where he explores blockchain applications, tokenized finance, and institutional DeFi adoption while implementing AI-driven innovations in educational workflows and research methodologies.

His unique combination of scientific training and industry experience enables him to bridge theoretical research with practical implementation, demonstrating how AI automation and blockchain infrastructure can transform both venture capital operations and financial markets to create sustainable competitive advantages in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
